Hello young readers, I am the heroine of these children’s books, and I am 8 years old! These stories are from my life and I have told them to my parents. My parents have created these books so that I can share my adventures with you. I hope you enjoy reading about my experiences as much as I enjoyed living them. Remember, just like me, you are special and can do amazing things. And always remember, your parents love you very much. With love and adventure, Yours Whyia

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Whyia who loved to play in the playground with her friend Tom.

They both enjoyed playing together and always had a great time.

One day, Tom was feeling sad because his mother didn’t buy him the helicopter he wanted in the toy store.

“Why are you so sad?” Whyia asked, looking concerned.

“I really wanted that helicopter, but my mom didn’t buy it for me,” Tom replied.

Just then, an adult man came up to them and said, “Hey, I couldn’t help but overhear your conversation. I can buy you that helicopter if you come with me.” come with me.”

Whyia was taken aback by the stranger’s offer and immediately said,

“Look at me; here I stand. Not a girl, but a puppy instead!”

She transformed into a puppy and ran to a big dog playing nearby to ask for advice.

“Mr. Dog, what should I do?

That man wants to take Tom away with him!” Whyia said, looking worried.

“Don’t worry, little one. I’ll tell you what to do,” the big dog said in a reassuring voice.

The big dog gave her some instructions. Whyia listened them all and said,

“Look at me; here I stand. Not a puppy, but a girl instead!” She transformed back into a human.

“I’m sorry, sir, but Tom can’t come with you,” Whyia said fi rmly. The stranger looked surprised and asked, “Why not?”

“Because we have to go home now, and Tom’s mom is waiting for us,” Whyia replied confidently, following the instructions given by the big dog.

“But, my dear girl, you can come with us. I could buy you both ice creams — look, there is an ice cream truck!

And then we can buy toys for you both to take home!” Thanks to the dog, Whyia knew what to do.

“Aaaaaaah!”, she started screaming, “Help! The bad man wants to take us with him!” “Grrrr”, the dog decided to help her.

Children began running to their parents on the benches, and the parents started to get up…

The stranger looked scared and walked away, and Tom looked at Whyia in amazement. “How did you do that?” he asked.

“Why, I just asked for help from a friend,” Whyia replied, smiling.

“Tom, remember how we talked about how it’s important to never talk to strangers or take anything from them without asking our parents fi rst? Well, that’s because some strangers might not have good intentions and might try to hurt or trick us.”

Tom looked at the big dog, who had a knowing smile on his face, and then back at Whyia. “Thanks, Whyia, you’re right. You’re the best friend ever,” he said, hugging her.

And from that day on, Whyia and Tom continued to play in the playground, always looking out for each other and knowing they had a special friend in the big dog who was always there to help.
